Bio:
E. Antonio Chiocca was appointed Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery and the Harvey W. Cushing Professor of Neurosurgery in 2012. Dr. Chiocca's clinical practice is focused on brain tumors and peripheral nerve tumors, entrapment and trauma. Dr. Chiocca's goal as the Department Chair has been to foster the neurosurgical faculty's clinical and scientific neuroscience programs so that they can discover the best treatments for patients. Delivering advanced, comprehensive and compassionate care remains a priority and is at the center of the department.

Bio:
Dr. Alexandra Golby is Professor of Neurosurgery and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Golby is an attending neurosurgeon, Director of Image-guided Neurosurgery, Co-director of AMIGO, and Co-director of Clinical fMRI. Dr. Golby's clinical practice is focused on image-guided neurosurgery with special interests in surgery for patients with brain tumors and epilepsy, particularly those whose disease is intimately involved with critical brain regions.

Ossama Al-Mefty, MD
Director, Skull Base Program
Lecturer, Harvard Medical School

Bio:
Dr. Ossama Al-Mefty is the Director of the Skull Base Surgery Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Al-Mefty's clinical practice is focused on the treatment of benign and malignant tumors, vascular disorders (aneurysm and malformation), congenital disorders, and other diseases affecting the skull base. Dr. Al-Mefty is recognized by his peers as a leader in caring for patients with meningiomas and rare skull tumors (chordomas) and a pioneer in developing techniques for treating rare and complex skull base conditions.
